Thibault Verny was born on November 7, 1965, in Paris. After obtaining a degree in Engineering Physics from the *École Supérieure de Physique et de Chimie Industrielles de Paris*, he entered the Archdiocesan Seminary. Subsequently, he attended the Pontifical French Seminary in Rome and earned a Licentiate in Dogmatic Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University. He was ordained a priest on June 27, 1998, for the Archdiocese of Paris. On June 25, 2016, he was appointed Titular Bishop of Lamzella and Auxiliary Bishop of Paris, receiving episcopal ordination on September 9 of that year. Within the French Bishops' Conference, he serves as President of the Council for the Prevention of and Fight against Pedophilia. Thibault Verny.
