We invite all young people from 3rd grade and up who have been baptized Catholic and received First Holy Communion to consider joining the Altar Server Ministry. Must be a baptized Catholic, have received First Holy Communion, and be at least in 3rd grade.

Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) is an opportunity for children to hear the living and active word of God interpreted for them. Children are dismissed from Mass at the start of the Liturgy of the Word and escorted to the Sarah Black Room in the Parish Center.

A group of parishioners that each week take time to pray for those that need prayer and for their prayer intentions. Anyone can submit a prayer request. Volunteers pray 5 to 10 minutes a day for special intentions.

The Men's Breakfast has met faithfully, year-round, the first Saturday of each month in the Parish Center following Mass (8:30 a.m.–10:00 a.m.). Purpose is to provide fellowship and an opportunity to discuss matters of faith.

The Rosary Society formally began at Saint Michael Parish in October of 1941. Women of the Rosary Society are pledged to serve the Altar of the Church. Monthly meetings held on the first Monday after the first Sunday of each month in October, December, April and May at 7 p.m. in the Parish Center. In February and March, first Saturday of the month at 2pm.

Offers adults of the parish short-term, hands-on volunteer outreach opportunities to aid the vulnerable, at-risk, hungry and homeless in the greater community. Includes Loops of Love (knitting/crocheting) and Lunchapalooza (assembling bag lunches for St. Joseph Social Services).

Supports local organizations including Cranford Family Care and St. Joseph's Soup Kitchen in Elizabeth. Volunteers and volunteer families make sandwiches, meatloaves and contribute funds. Sandwiches delivered on Mondays; meatloaves delivered the third Saturday every month.

Ushers welcome and assist those who come to Mass on the weekend, including greeting people, directing worshippers to open seating, collecting the parish offering, and distributing bulletins.

The Young Adult Group is the newest ministry at St. Michael Parish, bringing together young adults ages 18–35 for faith, fellowship, formation, and service. Open to parishioners and young adults throughout the local area.
