How do I use a coupon?

There are two kinds of codes you might receive, and they're redeemed in different places.

A — Stripe promotion code (most common)

If you've received a percentage-off or fixed-amount discount code (for example, a marketing promo), apply it during checkout:

1. Open the Plan page from the sidebar.
2. Choose the Pro or Organization plan you want.
3. Click Subscribe to open the Stripe checkout page.
4. On the Stripe page, click Add promotion code and enter your code.
5. Complete payment.

The discount appears on your first invoice (or each renewal, depending on the code).

B — Partner program code (e.g. Legatus, OLPA)

Some partner programs unlock free Pro access without going through checkout. To redeem:

1. Visit your partner-specific landing page (for Legatus members, magisterium.com/offer/legatus) or the general redemption page at magisterium.com/offer/general.
2. Sign in with your existing account or create one.
3. Enter your code in Coupon Code.
4. Submit. Your account is upgraded immediately and a confirmation message is shown.

Where to find your code

• Stripe promotion codes are usually emailed by us or shared by partners.
• Partner program codes are issued by your partner organization (for example, Legatus or OLPA). If you're a member and don't have a code, contact your partner program coordinator.

Code didn't work?

• Double-check spelling. Partner codes are case-insensitive (we normalise to upper-case before matching), but make sure there are no spaces.
• A Stripe promotion code only works at Stripe checkout, not on the Offer page (and vice versa).
• If you're already on a paid plan, some codes won't apply to existing subscriptions.
