Altar Servers are an integral part of our liturgy. Eligibility: Servers begin training in the fifth grade during the fall of the school/PSR/homeschool year. Boys and girls attending St. John the Baptist School, PSR, or home schooled parishioners are eligible and may continue to serve through college.

Assist in distributing the Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Sacrament of the Eucharist. May also take communion to the sick and homebound. Eligibility: Any Catholic who has been confirmed and has no impedance may be commissioned.

Greeters are responsible for being friendly and welcoming to guests. They also distribute any worship aides needed for the mass or prayer service.

Lectors are the men and women who proclaim God's Word at Mass. Students may start during the second half of their seventh grade year. Any Catholic who has been confirmed and has no impedance may be commissioned.

Ushers greet the community as they enter and exit the church, pass the collection basket, request a family to take the gifts to the altar and distribute bulletins at the end of mass.
