Archbishop of Ouagadougou
Prosper Kontiebo, M.I., was born on June 25, 1960, in Boassa, in the Archdiocese of Ouagadougou. He made his perpetual vows in 1988 in the Congregation of Clerics Regular, Ministers of the Sick (Camillians) and was ordained a priest on July 7, 1990. He held the following positions: various roles at the Saint Camille Scholasticate; Vice-Provincial Superior of the Congregation of Clerics Regular, Ministers of the Sick in Burkina Faso; member of the College of Consultors; member of the Episcopal Council; and member of the Congregation of the Ministers of the Sick. He was appointed the first Bishop of Tenkodogo on February 11, 2012, and was consecrated on June 2 of that year. He has served as Bishop of Tenkodogo from 2012 to the present.
