Guglielmo Borghetti, Bishop of Albenga-Imperia, was born in Carrara, MS, Diocese of Massa Carrara-Pontremoli, on 25 March 1954; was ordained a priest on 17 October 1982; was elected to the episcopal see of Pitigliano-Sovana-Orbetello on 25 June 2010; was ordained bishop on 15 September 2010; was appointed coadjutor of Albenga-Imperia on 10 January 2015; and succeeded by coadjutorship on 1 September 2016.
