Archbishop of Antequera
Pedro Vázquez Villalobos was born on September 16, 1950, in Huisquilco, Jalisco—now part of the Diocese of San Juan de los Lagos. He was ordained a priest for that same diocese on April 15, 1975. Following his ordination, he held the following positions: parochial vicar; pastor of the San Agustín parish in Tototlán (1990–1996) and the Santa Maria Guadalupe parish in Arandas (1996–2010); and coordinator of the *Fraterna Asistencia y Seguro Social* (Fraternal Assistance and Social Security) for diocesan priests. Since 2010, he has served as Vicar General of the Diocese of San Juan de los Lagos. He is also a member of the Presbyteral Council and the College of Consultors.
