Bishop of Azul
Bishop Hugo Manuel Salaberry Goyeneche, S.J., Bishop of Azul, was born on March 7, 1952, in San Andrés de Giles, San Andrés de Giles Partido, Argentina. He made his perpetual profession on August 15, 1989. He was ordained a priest for the same institute on December 3, 1985. On May 24, 2006, he was appointed Bishop of Azul. He received episcopal ordination on August 21, 2006, with Francis as principal consecrator and Emilio Pablo Bianchi di Cárcano and Guillermo José Garlatti as co-consecrators.
