Bishop Daniel Kozelinski Netto

Bishop Daniel Kozelinski Netto, Bishop of Santa María del Patrocinio en Buenos Aires (Ukrainian), was born on February 18, 1952, in Colônia Paraíso, Bom Sucesso, in the State of Paraná, Brazil, and belonged to the clergy of the Eparchy of São João Batista em Curitiba (Ukrainian). He studied philosophy at the Studium of the Order of Saint Basil the Great in Curitiba and theology at the Studium Theologicum Claretianum in the same city, and obtained a bachelor's degree in youth ministry and catechetics from the Pontifical Salesian University in Rome. He was ordained a deacon on November 21, 1979, and a priest for São João Batista em Curitiba (Ukrainian) on February 10, 1980. He exercised his pastoral ministry as coadjutor at the eparchial cathedral parish; parish priest of San Giuseppe at Dorizon and formator at the eparchial minor seminary; parish priest of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and rector of the minor seminary; rector of the Saint Josaphat Major Seminary; parish priest of the eparchial cathedral; parish priest of San Giuseppe at Cantagalo; a student in Rome at the Pontifical Salesian University; and in pastoral service in the city of Mallet. On June 20, 2007, he was appointed Titular Bishop of Eminentiana and Auxiliary Bishop of São João Batista em Curitiba (Ukrainian). He received episcopal ordination on September 16, 2007, with Lawrence Daniel Huculak as principal consecrator and Valdomiro Koubetch and Efraín Basílio Krevey as co-consecrators. On June 22, 2011, he was appointed Apostolic Administrator of Santa María del Patrocinio en Buenos Aires (Ukrainian), and he was installed on October 2, 2011. On October 8, 2016, he was appointed Bishop of Santa María del Patrocinio en Buenos Aires (Ukrainian), and he was installed on November 20, 2016.
