Bishop of Bydgoszcz
Bishop Krzysztof Stefan Włodarczyk, Bishop of Bydgoszcz, was born on February 25, 1961, in Sławno, Sławno County, Poland, in the Diocese of Koszalin-Kołobrzeg. He studied at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, Faculty of Theology, Adam Mickiewicz University and Higher Theological Seminary of the Diocese of Koszalin-Kołobrzeg. He was ordained a deacon on June 22, 1986. He was ordained a priest for Koszalin-Kołobrzeg on June 21, 1987. On May 7, 2016, he was appointed Titular Bishop of Surista and Auxiliary Bishop of Koszalin-Kołobrzeg. He received episcopal ordination on June 11, 2016, at Kolobrzeg, with Edward Dajczak as principal consecrator and Tadeusz Werno and Paweł Cieślik as co-consecrators. On September 21, 2021, he was appointed Bishop of Bydgoszcz. He was installed as Bishop of Bydgoszcz on September 28, 2021.
