Joseph Vincent Brennan is Bishop of Fresno, California, USA. Joseph Vincent Brennan was born on 20 March 1954 in Van Nuys, California. He completed ecclesiastical studies at Saint John's Seminary in Camarillo. He was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles on 21 June 1980. After ordination he was vice-parish priest of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Los Angeles from 1980 to 1983, Saint Linus Parish in Norwalk from 1983 to 1987, and Saint Vibiana Cathedral in Los Angeles from 1987 to 1991; parish priest of Saint Linus Parish in Norwalk from 1992 to 2004 and Holy Trinity Parish in San Pedro from 2004 to 2012. From 2013 to 2016 he was vicar general and moderator of the curia. In 2015 he was appointed auxiliary bishop of Los Angeles.
