Bishop Mario Farci

Mario Farci was born on May 9, 1967, in Quartu Sant’Elena, within the Archdiocese and province of Cagliari. He was ordained a priest on December 7, 1991, and incardinated into his home Archdiocese. He has held the following positions: Parochial Vicar at the SS. Crocifisso parish in Cagliari (1992–1999); Spiritual Director of the Archdiocesan Seminary (1996–1998); Archdiocesan Delegate for the Office of Permanent Diaconate and Instituted Ministries (1999–2022); Diocesan Chaplain for FUCI (1999–2004); Director of the Office for Ecumenism and Dialogue (1999–2022); Lecturer in Dogmatic Theology at the Higher Institute of Religious Sciences in Cagliari (since 1994); Lecturer in Dogmatic Theology at the Pontifical Theological Faculty of Sardinia (since 1998); Chaplain at the S. Antonio nursing home in Cagliari (since 1999); Administrator of the SS.
