Bishop of Ihosy
Fulgence Razakarivony, M.S., was born on August 16, 1963, in Betsiholany. He completed his primary education in Betafo and his secondary education at the diocesan minor seminary in Antsirabé. After joining the La Salette Missionaries, he pursued studies in philosophy and theology at the Catholic Institute of Madagascar (I.C.M.) and made his perpetual vows in 1990. He was ordained a priest on August 8, 1993. Following his ordination, he held the following positions: 1993–1996: Parochial Vicar of the Ankazomiriotra missionary district; 1996–1999: Parish Priest of the same district; 1999–2002: Parochial Vicar and priest-in-charge of the Ambararatabe district, in the Diocese of Tsiroanomandidy; 2002–2004: Training course for formators of religious at the Catholic Institute of Paris; 2004–2006: Director of the La Salette Scholasticate (Foyer La Salette) in Antananarivo; 2006–2007: Director of the Apostolic School in Antsirabé; 2006–2009: Assistant to the Provincial; since 2009: Deputy Administrative Secretary of the Episcopal Conference of Madagascar.
