Bishop of Issele-Uku
Michael Odogwu Elue was born on April 4, 1956, in Ute-Ogbeje, in the Diocese of Issele-Uku. He pursued his studies in his home country, at the Gregorian University in Rome (Biblical Theology), and obtained a degree in Biblical Theology in Jerusalem. He was ordained a priest on August 18, 1984. He has served as a parochial vicar, a formator at St. John Seminary, a parish priest, a Dean of Theology, and a professor and formator at the "All Saints" Major Seminary in Uhiele. He is a member of the College of Consultors of the Archdiocese of Benin City.
