Bishop of Kabwe
Clement Mulenga, S.D.B., was born on August 15, 1965, in Dismashi (Archdiocese of Kasama). After completing his secondary education in Luwingu (a town in northern Zambia known for the presence of the Salesians and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians), he entered the Salesian Society of Saint John Bosco. He made his perpetual profession in Nairobi, Kenya, on August 25, 1996, and was subsequently ordained a priest on August 25, 1998. Following his ordination, he held the following positions: 1998–2001: Parochial Vicar at Bauleni in Lusaka; 2001–2004: Advanced studies in Rome, pursuing a Licentiate in Youth Ministry and Catechesis at the Pontifical Salesian University; 2005–2007: Superior of the Salesian Community in Chingola, Zambia, as well as Councilor and Delegate for Formation; 2007–2009: Vicar, Formator, and Professor at the post-novitiate community in Moshi, Tanzania. Since 2009, he has served as Director of the Youth Ministry Office for the Archdiocese of Lusaka.
