Armand Koné was born on July 29, 1969, in Kouto (Ivory Coast). After studying philosophy at the Grand Séminaire Saint Pierre in Daloa, he completed his theological studies at the Grand Séminaire National Saint Coeur de Marie in Anyama. He was ordained a priest on October 11, 2008. He has held the following positions: Vicar at the Cathedral of Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Korhogo (2008–2009); Parish Priest of Immaculée Conception, Guiembé (2009–2010); Head of Vocational Ministry and Chaplain for Rural Development (*Animation Rurale*), Korhogo (2009–2012); Military Chaplain (2009–2013); Parish Priest of Sainte Odile, Sinématiali (2010–2012); Vicar General of Korhogo (2010–2013); Parish Priest of Saint Michel Archange, Dikodougou (2012–2013); Parish Priest of Chaource, Diocese of Troyes, France (2014–2020); Vicar Forane of Bandama Urbain (2020–2022); Parish Priest of Notre Dame des Victoires, Korhogo (since 2020); Vicar General of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Korhogo (since 2022); Delegate Vicar of Korhogo (since 2024).
