Bishop Vicente Sanombo

Vicente Sanombo was born on October 23, 1964, in Cangenge (Angola). He pursued studies in philosophy and theology at the Christ the King Major Seminary in Huambo and was ordained a priest on November 6, 1992. He has held the following positions and undertaken further studies: a Licentiate in Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical Biblical Institute; Bursar, Rector of the Minor Seminary, Rector of the Philosophy Seminary in Huambo, and Director of the Good Shepherd Pastoral Center. Since 2004, he has been a lecturer in Sacred Scripture at the Christ the King Major Seminary in Huambo; since 2009, Parish Priest of the Cathedral; since 2010, Vicar General; and since 2019, an advisor to the Episcopal Conference of Angola and São Tomé.
