Bishop of Mahenge
He has distinguished himself in teaching, leading, and sanctifying the people of God in Mahenge. The family of God in Tanzania—and in a very special way the Catholic Diocese of Mahenge—sings a hymn of praise, greatness, and thanksgiving to Almighty God as Bishop Agapiti Ndorobo Fidelis celebrates the 25th anniversary of his episcopal ordination for the Catholic Diocese of Mahenge. It is worth noting that Bishop Ndorobo was born on August 14, 1954, in Kidulo, Haubi Parish, within the Catholic Diocese of Kondoa. Following his priestly studies and formation, he was ordained a priest on December 6, 1980, for the Catholic Diocese of Dodoma. On March 3, 1995, Saint John Paul II appointed him Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Mahenge, and he was ordained a bishop on June 16, 1995, by Cardinal Polycarp Pengo, Archbishop Emeritus of the Archdiocese of Dar es Salaam.
