Catholic Call to Antiracism Work

Social Justice & Outreach

Lay-led parish ministry of St. Joseph's Catholic Parish affirming that Black Lives Matter. Addresses racial, economic, and other injustices from the lens of the Gospel and Catholic Social Teaching. Meets weekly via Zoom. Part of St. Joseph's Workers4Justice.

Food Pantry Ministry

Social Justice & Outreach

Basic food items donated and/or purchased, stored in the Parish House. Volunteers bag food and distribute on designated Saturdays. Donations of non-perishable food accepted at 245 Hilton Avenue on Sundays 8:30-9:00am and 11:00-11:30am or by appointment.

Hospitality

Hospitality

Hospitality Committee organizes Reception Sundays after Mass. Volunteers needed for set up, baked goods donation, and clean up. Upcoming reception for new parishioners.

Music Ministry

Liturgical

Adult Parish Choir rehearses Thursday evenings at 7:00pm for approximately 90 minutes and sings at the 11:30am Sunday Mass. About 25 members.

Open Arms Ministry

Other

Ministry welcoming the LGBTQ+ Community and those who love and support them. Monthly meetings in the Holy Family Meeting Room to discuss the upcoming Sunday Gospel. Meets the Fourth Tuesday of the Month, 7:00-8:00pm.

Religious Education

Faith Formation Program for children Kindergarten through Eighth Grade attending public or non-Catholic schools. Prepares students for sacraments including First Eucharist, First Reconciliation, and Confirmation. Offers Mass-first approach and family involvement opportunities.

Workers 4 Justice

Social Justice & Outreach

Justice ministry built on four pillars: Justice, Solidarity, Liberation, and Love with Jesus Christ as Cornerstone. Focus on racial, economic, and gender justice.
