Bishop Adriano Cevolotto

Adriano Cevolotto is Bishop of Piacenza-Bobbio, Italy. The Holy Father appointed Monsignor Adriano Cevolotto, of the clergy of the Diocese of Treviso and until then vicar general of that diocese, as Bishop of the Diocese of Piacenza-Bobbio. He was born in Treviso, in the province and Diocese of Treviso, on 29 April 1958. In 1969 he entered the episcopal minor seminary, where he completed the whole formative and study path toward the priesthood. He was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Treviso on 26 May 1984. He obtained a licentiate in systematic theology at the Theological Faculty of Northern Italy. For two years he was parish vicar and educator in the episcopal seminary. From 1998 to 2000 he was delegate for the formation of young priests, and from 2000 to 2005 rector of the episcopal seminary. From 2005 to 2010 he was parish priest of Santa Maria della Pieve in Castelfranco Veneto, and from 2010 to 2014 archpriest-abbot of San Liberale Parish in the same city. From 2014 he was vicar general of the Diocese of Treviso. He taught sacramental theology for several years at the Theological Study of the Episcopal Seminary of Treviso.
