Msgr. Adalberto Donadelli Júnior was born on 26 December 1974 in Paranavaí, in the diocese of the same name, in the State of Paraná, Brazil. He carried out his studies in philosophy at the Faculdade São Basílio Magno in Curitiba-PR and in theology at the Faculdade Católica de Santa Catarina in Florianópolis-SC. He subsequently obtained a licentiate in spiritual theology at the Pontifical Institute of Spirituality Teresianum in Rome. He received priestly ordination and was incardinated in the diocese of Joinville on 16 October 2004. He has held the following offices: parish vicar of Senhor Bom Jesus in Guaramirim-SC (2004-2005), Cristo Ressuscitado in Joinville-SC (2005-2006) and São João Batista in Joinville-SC (2014-2015), parish priest of São João Batista in Garuva-SC (2016-2018), member of the Presbyteral Council and the College of Consultors (since 2018), rector of the Divino Espíritu Santo in Joinville-SC (2006-2008) and rector of the Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe Theology Seminary in Florianópolis-SC (2011-2017). Since 2019 he has served as rector of the São Francisco Xavier Philosophy Seminary in Brusque-SC.
