Bishop Antonieto Dumagan Cabajog, Bishop of Surigao, was born on May 10, 1956, in Cebu City, Central Visayas, Philippines, in the Diocese of Tagbilaran. He studied at University of Santo Tomas. He was ordained a priest for Tagbilaran on April 9, 1981, in Tagbilaran City. On January 13, 1999, he was appointed Titular Bishop of Reperi and Auxiliary Bishop of Cebu. He received episcopal ordination on March 16, 1999, at Tagbilaran, with Ricardo Jamin Vidal as principal consecrator and Carmelo Dominador Flores Morelos and Onesimo Cadiz Gordoncillo as co-consecrators. On April 21, 2001, he was appointed Bishop of Surigao.
