Archbishop Philip Naameh

Archbishop Philip Naameh, Archbishop of Tamale, was born on September 8, 1948, in Nandom-Ko, Ghana, in the Diocese of Tamale. He was ordained a priest for Tamale on December 16, 1977. On February 3, 1995, he was appointed Bishop of Damongo. He received episcopal ordination on May 28, 1995, at Accra, with Jozef Tomko as principal consecrator and Francis Anani Kofi Lodonu and Gregory Eebolawola Kpiebaya as co-consecrators. On February 12, 2009, he was appointed Archbishop of Tamale.
