Bishop Vicente Rebollo Mozos

Vicente Rebollo Mozos was born on April 15, 1964, in Revilla Vallejera (Burgos). He holds a Bachelor's degree in Theology (1988) and a Licentiate in Spiritual Theology (1999) from the Faculty of Theology of Northern Spain (Burgos campus). He was ordained a priest on August 13, 1988. He holds a diploma in Business Sciences (2004), a degree in Business Administration and Management (2006), and a University Master's degree in Business Economics Research (2011) from the University of Burgos. He was appointed Bishop of Tarazona on June 28, 2022. He has carried out his priestly ministry in the Archdiocese of Burgos, holding the following pastoral positions: parochial vicar of San Pablo Apóstol (1988–1996); parish priest of Canicosa de la Sierra and Regumiel de la Sierra (1996–1999); parish priest of Tardajos, Rabé de las Calzadas, and Villarmentero (1999–2007); archpriest of San Juan de Ortega (2002–2007); and secretary of the Presbyteral Council (2005–2007). He served as diocesan bursar (since 2007), episcopal vicar for Economic Affairs (since 2016), a member of the Presbyteral Council (since 2003) and the College of Consultors (since 2012), and as chapter administrator canon (since 2014) and dean (since 2021) of Burgos Cathedral. He is a member of the Illustrious College of Economists of Burgos (since 2009) and president of the association of the faithful "Knights of the Immaculate Conception of Our Lady, Mother of God" (since 2009). He is also a member (since 2011) and president (since 2014) of the Board of Directors of the mutual insurance company UMAS, and has served as president of its Foundation since 2018. Father Vicente Rebollo succeeds Msgr. Eusebio Hernández Sola, who had led the Diocese of Tarazona since 2011.
