Bereavement Ministry responds to the needs of parishioners grieving the loss of a significant person/persons in their lives. Depending on the need of the grieving our outreach may include liturgy planning, home visitations, phone call support, support group, Days of Remembrance, All Souls Day celebration. This ministry of consolation looks to the example and words of Jesus, "Blessed are they who mourn, they shall be consoled." (Matthew 5:4)

Beyond Baptism ministry affirms the parents' role as primary educators of our Catholic faith. From the time of a child's baptism we offers parents support and guidance by providing spiritual and practical resources. We partner with parents as they nurture their child's developing faith life during these early years.

Parishioners assist the priests and deacon in distributing Holy Communion at Mass, and bring Holy Communion to the homebound. This ministry is open to registered parishioners eighteen years of age or older, if married, married according to the laws of the Church. Training is provided on a parish and Archdiocesan level.

Parishioners read the Scriptures at week end Masses and Holy days. This ministry is open to any parishioner who is a practicing Catholic and has received the Sacrament of Confirmation. Training and materials are provided.

Hospitality
The men and women greet parishioners as they enter for Mass as an act of welcome and hospitality. Ushers also take up collections at Masses. This ministry is open to men and women from the parish.
