Benedict XVI celebrates the Eucharistic liturgy concluding the Italian youth gathering in Loreto, describing the assembly at the Holy House as a day of grace and a gathering of the faithful before God. He proclaims that Christ’s life, death, and resurrection establish God’s new and definitive covenant with humanity, and draws attention to Mary’s young age and willing role as Mother of the Redeemer within this saving plan.
