Brings solace to families of the deceased and aids in planning the funeral liturgy within the rules of the Church. Members contact bereaved families to plan the Mass and assist at the funeral.

Three members from each of the four Riverview Catholics parishes serve on the council. Meets monthly on the 3rd Tuesday. Supports pastoral consultation, planning, and evaluation; recommends policies on pastoral matters and sets annual goals.

Annual Good Friday pilgrimage at Holy Cross-Immaculata Church in Mt. Adams beginning at 12:01 AM. Thousands gather to pray, reflect and venerate a relic of the True Cross. Schedule includes Holy Thursday Mass 7pm, 12:01 AM Blessing of the Steps, Rosary, confession throughout, 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM Passion Narrative, and 4–7 PM Fish Fry. Volunteers needed. Riverview Catholics staff dinner service at SFSM's Mother Theresa Dining Room, 1615 Republic St, on the 2nd Thursday of each month, 3:45–6:00 PM, providing meals to the working poor and homeless of Over-the-Rhine.
