At Saints Peter & Paul we aim to educate the faithful of all ages through various adult formation offerings. These include Women's Group, and occasional presentations by invited speakers; offerings by various Archdiocesan Offices.

The Altar Server Ministry is a very special group of young people in our parish who have answered God's call to ministry. The altar server assists the Priest at Mass. 1 Hour on Saturday Evening or Sunday Mass.

Meets as needed, dependent on Parish and project needs. The Event Planning Committees works together to create carry out events for and within the parish community, with the goal of strengthening faith and community within the parish.

Grade School students sing at the monthly 10AM Family Mass, held on the first Sunday of each month from October-May. Parents and Guardians are also welcome to sing beside their child.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are lay people who administer Holy Communion to the faithful during the Liturgy. 1 Hour on Saturday Evening or Sunday Mass.

The Finance Council is a committee of parishioners with whom the Pastor may consult on various investment strategies and financial impact of necessary Parish projects. Meets quarterly or as needed.

The Hoboken Catholic Youth Group is a youth group targeting High-school aged parishioners from the five Hoboken area churches, including St. Peter & Paul. Teens in grades 9-12 are invited to join for faith, fun and fellowship. Schedule rotates through the year.

The role of the Lector is to proclaim the Word of God in the Sacred Scriptures during the Liturgy of the Word at Mass. 1 Hour on Saturday Evening or Sunday Mass.

Our vibrant Music Ministry seeks to serve the spiritual needs of people in our community. Whether by singing in the pews with those around you or by sharing your talents in one of our ensembles, all are invited to participate in our Music Ministry at Saints Peter and Paul.

The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) Program is that process through which mature adults make the decision to enter into a program of Formation in our Faith.

The primary focus of the Religious Education aspect of the Faith Formation Program is the formation in our Catholic Faith, of those children and young adults preparing to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation.

Every few months, we meet in the Lower Church to prepare bagged lunches for those in need. This is a great way to meet fellow parishioners while giving back to the local community.

The heart of our Music Ministry, the SPP Choir consists of college and adult singers of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences who sing at the Sunday 10AM Mass. Rehearsals are conveniently held on Sunday mornings before Mass at 9:30 AM, as well as after Mass until 11:30 AM. No experience or audition necessary.

The role of the usher/greeter is one of offering a friendly, welcoming presence to those coming to worship, of providing assistance to parishioners in need or during emergencies. 1 Hour on Saturday Evening or Sunday Mass.

If you are interested in bringing Holy Communion to the Sick and Homebound as a Eucharistic Minister. Once a week, or as needed.
