Bishop of Lira
Bishop Sanctus Lino Wanok, Bishop of Lira, was born on April 7, 1957, in Atyak-Yamo, Uganda, in the Diocese of Arua. He was ordained a deacon on August 31, 1986. He was ordained a priest for Arua on September 27, 1986. He was incardinated in Nebbi on February 23, 1996. On February 8, 2011, he was appointed Bishop of Nebbi. He received episcopal ordination on April 30, 2011, at Nebbi, with John Baptist Odama as principal consecrator and Paul Tschang In-Nam and Martin Luluga as co-consecrators. On November 23, 2018, he was appointed Bishop of Lira. He was installed as Bishop of Lira on February 9, 2019.
