Apostolic Exarch of Venezuela (Syrian)
Bishop Timoteo Hikmat Beylouni, Apostolic Exarch of Venezuela (Syrian), was born on November 18, 1945, in Aleppo, Mount Simeon District, Syria, in the Diocese of Alep (Syrian). He was ordained a priest for Alep (Syrian) on November 26, 1972. On March 1, 2011, he was appointed Titular Bishop of Sabrata and Apostolic Exarch of Venezuela (Syrian). He received episcopal ordination on May 22, 2011, at Alep, with Ignace Joseph III (Ephrem) Younan as principal consecrator and Denys Antoine Chahda and Denys Raboula Antoine Beylouni as co-consecrators.
