His Excellency Most Reverend Francesco Alfano is Archbishop of Sorrento-Castellammare di Stabia. He was born in Nocera Inferiore (SA), Diocese of Nocera Inferiore-Sarno, on 13 June 1956; was ordained a priest on 17 April 1982; was elected to the archiepiscopal see of Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi-Conza-Nusco-Bisaccia on 14 May 2005; was ordained a bishop on 2 July 2005; was transferred to Sorrento-Castellammare di Stabia on 10 March 2012; 30 March 2012; named by the CEP of 25-27/09/2017 on 27 September 2017.
