Bishop of Prosperidad
Bishop Ruben Caballero Labajo, Bishop of Prosperidad, was born on September 24, 1966, in Talisay, Cebu, Philippines, in the Diocese of Cebu. He was ordained a priest for Cebu on June 10, 1994, in Cebu City. On June 23, 2022, he was appointed Titular Bishop of Abbir Maius and Auxiliary Bishop of Cebu. He received episcopal ordination on August 19, 2022, at Cebu City, with Jose Serofia Palma as principal consecrator and Charles John Brown and Dennis Cabanada Villarojo as co-consecrators. On October 15, 2024, he was appointed Bishop of Prosperidad. He was installed as Bishop of Prosperidad on January 28, 2025.
