Bishop of Campo Mourão
Msgr. Evandro Luis Braun was born on 3 August 1976 in Teixeira Soares, dicoese of Ponta Grossa, in the State of Paraná. He carried out his studies at the Instituto de Filosofia e Teologia “Mater Ecclesiae” in Ponta Grossa-PR. He was ordained a priest on 15 September 2002, and incardinated in the diocese of Ponta Grossa. He has held the following offices: lecturer (2001-2009) and coordinator (2010-2019) of the School of Theology for the Laity, rector (2003-2010), teacher (2002-2015) and spiritual director (2010-2015) of the Preparatory Seminary, parish vicar of Imaculada Conceição in Carambeí-PR (2003-2010), parish priest of Senhor Menino Deus and rector of the Santuário de Nossa Senhora das Brotas in Piraí do Sul-PR (2010-2020), coordinatore of presbyteral pastoral care (2012-2014), secretary of the Organização dos Seminários e Institutos Filosófico-Teológicos do Brasil - OSIB (2007-2011) and supervisor of pastoral care of tourism of the Regional Sul 2 (2014-2019); member of the College of Consultors (since 2014) and diocesan exorcist (since 2017). Since 2020 he has served as parish priest of Santa Rita de Cássia in Ponta Grossa-PR.
