Archbishop of Harare
Archbishop Robert Christopher Ndlovu, Archbishop of Harare, was born on December 25, 1955, in Zimbabwe, in the Diocese of Hwange. He studied at Marist Brothers Secondary School Dete, Zimbabwe. He was ordained a priest for Hwange on August 28, 1983. On February 9, 1999, he was appointed Bishop of Hwange. He received episcopal ordination on May 9, 1999, at Hwange, with Ignacio Prieto Vega as principal consecrator and Peter Paul Prabhu and Pius Alick Mvundla Ncube as co-consecrators. On June 10, 2004, he was appointed Archbishop of Harare. He was installed as Archbishop of Harare on August 21, 2004. On February 17, 2016, he was appointed Apostolic Administrator of Chinhoyi. He ceased to hold the office of Apostolic Administrator of Chinhoyi on April 7, 2018. On July 19, 2022, he was appointed Apostolic Administrator of Masvingo. He ceased to hold the office of Apostolic Administrator of Masvingo on December 9, 2023.
