Giving feedback on a response

Every answer has feedback controls that help us understand what's working and what isn't. The more specific your feedback, the better.

Give a quick thumb

  1. Hover over the answer and use the action row below it.
  2. Click thumbs-up (Good) or thumbs-down (Bad).

Your rating is recorded immediately.

Add detail

After you click thumbs-up or thumbs-down, a short form appears so you can say more:

  • On Good, pick any of: Accurate, Relevant, Clear, Comprehensive, Helpful.
  • On Bad, pick any of: Inaccurate, Outdated, Unclear, Harmful, Not Helpful.
  • Add an optional comment with specifics.
A chat answer to the prompt 'Define faith in Catholic theology.' with the negative-feedback form expanded directly under the action bar, marked with a thin red top border. The form has the heading 'Let us know how this answer can be better.' and a 'Comment' field labelled '(Optional) Please provide your feedback here …' Above the form, the action bar shows the References button and round icons; the thumbs-down button is highlighted as the trigger that opened this form. (Tapping thumbs-up opens the same form with positive categories instead.)

What happens with your feedback

Your ratings and comments are reviewed by our team and used to improve:

  • The AI's prompts and models.
  • The library of documents the AI draws from.
  • Product features like citations and modes.

We don't publish individual feedback, and we don't reply to it, but every piece is read.

More than a quick rating?

For longer-form feedback, bug reports, or feature requests, use Feedback in the account menu or the Contact form. Pick the right reason (Bug reporting, Product suggestion, Billing / Subscription, etc.) so it reaches the right team.
