Bishop of Kericho
Bishop Alfred Kipkoech Arap Rotich, Bishop of Kericho, was born on July 27, 1957, in Longisa, Bomet County, Kenya, in the Diocese of Nakuru. He was ordained a priest for Nakuru on November 18, 1983. On March 9, 1996, he was appointed Titular Bishop of Iulium Carnicum and Auxiliary Bishop of Nairobi. He received episcopal ordination on July 3, 1996, at Nairobi, with Maurice Michael Otunga as principal consecrator and Zacchaeus Okoth and Raphael Simon Ndingi Mwana'a Nzeki as co-consecrators. On August 29, 1997, he was appointed Bishop of Kenya. He ceased to hold the office of Bishop of Kenya on December 30, 2016. On December 14, 2019, he was appointed Bishop of Kericho. He was installed as Bishop of Kericho on February 15, 2020.
