Archbishop of Gaborone
Archbishop Franklyn (Frank) Atese Nubuasah, S.V.D., Archbishop of Gaborone, was born on July 7, 1949, in Likpe Abozome, Ghana. He is a member of the Society of the Divine Word. He was ordained a priest for the same institute on July 26, 1980. On June 27, 1998, he was appointed Titular Bishop of Pauzera and Vicar Apostolic of Francistown. He received episcopal ordination on November 7, 1998, at Francistown, with Boniface Tshosa Setlalekgosi as principal consecrator and Erwin Hecht and Johannes Ludgerus Bonaventure Brenninkmeijer as co-consecrators. On August 9, 2017, he was appointed Apostolic Administrator of Gaborone. On October 2, 2017, he was appointed Bishop of Francistown. On June 6, 2019, he was appointed Bishop of Gaborone. He was installed as Bishop of Gaborone on August 17, 2019. On July 5, 2021, he was appointed Archbishop of Gaborone.
