Bishop of Tshumbe
Vincent Tshomba Shamba Kotsho was born on January 22, 1963, in Kinshasa. He pursued his studies in philosophy at the Saint Kaggwa Major Seminary (1981–1984) and in theology at the Saint Jean XXIII Major Seminary (1985–1989), both in Kinshasa. He was ordained a priest on August 1, 1990, for the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Kinshasa. Following his ordination, he held the following positions: 1990–1994: Parochial Vicar of Saint Augustin; 1994–1996: Parochial Vicar of Saint André; 1996–2003: Parish Priest of Mama wa Bosawa; 1996–1997: Parish Priest of Saint Frédéric; 2003–2008: Parish Priest of Saint Marc and Dean; 2008–2014: Parish Priest of Saint Augustin and Dean of Saint Gabriel; 2014–2018: Parish Priest of Saint Joseph and Dean; since 2018: Parish Priest of Saint Albert le Grand, Diocesan Chaplain for Justice and Peace, and member of the Presbyteral Council.
