Bishop Silvio Siripong Charatsri

Silvio Siripong Charatsri was born on December 10, 1959, in Ban Nok Kwaek, in the Diocese of Ratchaburi. He studied at the diocesan minor seminary and attended primary and secondary school in Ratchaburi. He subsequently attended the Lux Mundi National Major Seminary in Sampran (Bangkok), completing his philosophical and theological studies. He was ordained a priest on May 19, 1987, and incardinated into the Diocese of Ratchaburi. Following his ordination, he held the following positions: 1987–1988: Parochial Vicar of the Sacred Heart Church, Watplunh, Ratchaburi; 1989–1991: Vice-Rector of the diocesan minor seminary in Ratchaburi; 1991–1992: Diploma in Pastoral Studies in Manila (EAPI), Philippines; 1992–1995: Rector of the diocesan minor seminary in Ratchaburi; 1996–1998: Parish Priest of Saint John Bosco Church, Ratchaburi; 1998–2000: Studies for a Licentiate in Theology at the Angelicum in Rome; 2001–2005: Vice-Rector of the Lux Mundi Major Seminary in Sampran; since 2006: Vicar General of Ratchaburi, Rector of the diocesan school in Ratchaburi, and Parish Priest of Saint John Bosco Church.
