Elected Bishop of Trivento on June 5, 2017, he received episcopal consecration on the following September 8. He is a member of the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints. Within the Abruzzo-Molise Episcopal Conference, he serves as Regional Secretary and as the Bishop delegate for culture, catechesis, and social communications.
