How do I clear my prompt history?

You can delete an individual chat at any time, or clear every chat at once from your account.

Delete a single chat

  1. In the sidebar, hover over the chat you want to remove.
  2. Click the three-dot (⋯) menu and choose Delete.
  3. Confirm. The chat is removed immediately.

Clear all prompts at once

If you want to wipe your entire prompt history:

  1. Click your name in the bottom-left of the sidebar and choose Settings.
  2. Open the Data controls page from the account sidebar.
  3. Under Clear All Prompts, click Clear.
  4. Read the confirmation dialog carefully — this can't be undone — and confirm.

Your chats, their references, and any memories derived from them are removed.

What this does — and doesn't — affect

Clearing your prompts also removes chats that you've shared publicly via a share link (the link will stop working). It does not affect:

  • Your account or login.
  • Documents and pages saved in My Library.
  • Your Personalization settings or saved memories — manage memories separately in Account → Personalization.
  • Your subscription.

Export first if you want a copy

You can download a JSON export of all your data (including chats) from Settings → Data controls → Export Data before clearing.
