Endeavors to support an openhearted, vibrant parish community through assisting with organizing and coordinating events that promote fellowship in a spirit of Christian hospitality. We provide logistical support -- such as event planning, setup, and breakdown, and food and beverages for these events.

A biannual giving campaign that supports the physical needs of the poor and under served in our community. Each year we partner with different non-profits to support their mission.

Provides Communion services to La Plata County Jail every Wednesday from 12:30pm to 4pm.

Read the scriptures during Mass, proclaiming the Word of God.

Lead and support the music during the liturgy, fostering a sense of community through song.

Prepare the church and sacred vessels before Mass and assist with other logistical needs.

Supports outreach efforts of parishioners through a multitude of ministries and appeals, offering opportunities to share God's love through gifts of time and/or treasure.

Help prepare food for the takeout window at the Manna Soup Kitchen, package meals to send out, and help to stock Manna's food market.

Reach out in solidarity to both dementia patients and caregivers to support all those involved in this progressive, long-term disease.

Strives to provide free nonperishable food to those in need in our community.

Involves church members helping other St. Columba parishioners in need with yard work, snow removal of walks, providing transportation to church or medical appointments, minor household repairs, and lifting / moving (minor) items.

Welcome parishioners and assist with seating, ensuring an orderly and reverent atmosphere.

Providing meals for our Youth Ministry gatherings.

Purchase at their own expense, cook at home, deliver and serve food to the residents.
