Bishop Enrico Solmi

Bishop Enrico Solmi, Bishop of Parma (-Fontevivo), was born on July 18, 1956, in Spilamberto, Italy, in the Diocese of Modena-Nonantola. He was ordained a priest for Modena on June 28, 1980. On January 19, 2008, he was appointed Bishop of Parma (-Fontevivo). He received episcopal ordination on March 9, 2008, at Modena, with Benito Cocchi as principal consecrator and Santo Bartolomeo Quadri and Silvio Cesare Bonicelli as co-consecrators. He was installed as Bishop of Parma (-Fontevivo) on March 30, 2008.
