Parishioners bring cookies and juice boxes to Mass on the 2nd Sunday of each month for the needy and homeless of the inner city; volunteers gather items and deliver them.

Meets the 1st Wednesday of each month with Christian principles in mind; assists older adults to live active, interesting lives.

Prays during Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament for priests, renewal of the Church and the world, vocations, and all religious orders. Meets in Church every Monday at 11 am to pray the rosary and Shepherds of Christ prayer Manual; makes rosaries and has special programs for schools, nursing homes, and shut-ins.

St. James Athletic Club promotes and organizes youth athletic programs (baseball, softball, football, volleyball, basketball, golf, track, cheerleading); maintains fields and facilities. Meetings 2nd Monday of each month (not June/July).

Serves in an advisory capacity regarding policies and programs for Catholic education at St. James School; supports human and spiritual development of each student.

Resources for women from the Respect Life Archdiocesan Office; supports and accompanies pregnant and parenting women. Part of USCCB national initiative; parishes assess, expand, and communicate resources to moms in need.

Advises the Pastor and parish staff on the implementation of the rituals of the Roman Catholic liturgy; helps educate parishioners about the liturgy and its central role in Catholic life.

Provides crocheted/knitted items and play cards to organizations; formerly known as Scarves for the Homeless.
