Archbishop of Łódź
He was born on November 25, 1963, in Łódź. He was ordained a priest on June 11, 1988. He was appointed Archbishop and Almoner of His Holiness on July 3, 2013, and received episcopal ordination on September 17, 2013. He was elevated to the rank of cardinal on June 28, 2018. He was appointed Metropolitan Archbishop of Łódź on March 12, 2026. He was installed at the Archcathedral Basilica in Łódź on March 28, 2026. His titular see is Beneventum. His episcopal motto is: *Misericordia* (Mercy).
