Bishop of Camden
Joseph A. Williams was born on May 2, 1974, in Minneapolis, Minnesota (USA). He completed his ecclesiastical studies at the Franciscan University of Steubenville and at the University of Saint Thomas and Saint Paul Seminary, earning a Master’s degree in Theology (1996–2002). He was ordained a priest for the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis on May 28, 2002. Following his ordination, he served as parochial vicar at the Cathedral in Saint Paul (2002–2004) and at Divine Mercy Parish in Faribault (2004–2005), and as pastor of St. Mathias in Hampton (2005–2008). From 2008, he served as pastor of St. Stephen in Minneapolis. In 2018, he was appointed Episcopal Vicar for Hispanic Ministry. Since 2020, he has served as parish administrator of Holy Rosary in Minneapolis.
