Music ministry at Sacred Heart Church.

Singers trained to sing solo who share the spirituality of faith by singing the responsorial psalm and gospel acclamation. Need not be choir members.

November–December. Food and household supply donations used to create gift baskets for local needy families.

November–December. Donations support Family and Youth Initiatives, a pregnancy support and education outreach located in New Carlisle.

Fellowship and light refreshments every Wednesday following the 9:30am Mass in the Parish Center. New members welcome, especially those new to the area.

Every Monday at 7:00pm in the Parish Center. Volunteers offer English as a second language classes. One-on-one tutoring; no experience necessary. Language services only (not citizenship issues).

Spanish-language Bible study group.

Assist at Mass to ensure reverent and orderly distribution of Communion.

As needed. Organizes and serves a meal or light snack after funeral services. On-call ministry providing meals, setup, and clean-up for funerals.

Present in the gathering space prior to Mass to welcome Mass attendees and provide assistance.

As needed. Visits the sick and home-bound, bringing Holy Communion and prayer to those in need.

Fraternal Catholic Organization focused on Charity, Family, Life, Faith and church. Activities include Church Christmas Social, Council/Youth Picnic Swimming Party, Annual Skating Party, Annual Fish Fries, Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest, Annual Soccer Challenge, fundraisers for Pro-life, Seminarians, Developmental Disabilities and local church.

Dedicated to bringing friendship and fellowship to the parish and community. Meets 1st Tuesday, 7:00pm in the Parish Center.

Serve at the altar; prepare the altar and sacred vessels; may distribute Eucharist as an extraordinary minister.

Proclaim readings from Sacred Scripture (except the Gospel) and read Mass intentions and announcements.

As needed. Offers prayers for anyone in need. Contact the parish office to participate or submit a prayer request.

Youth Group on Sundays from 6pm to 8pm for all 6–12 graders at St. Luke's Parish Hall. Pizza and snacks, games, teen talks and prayer.

Undertake overall preparation of liturgical celebrations, including special days such as Ash Wednesday and Palm Sunday.

Assist the priest at the celebration of Mass. At least one server assists the priest; two or more on Sundays and major occasions.

Catholic lay organization offering person-to-person service to those in need. Provides temporary emergency assistance to people in the Bethel Township community in Clark County. Meets 4th Monday, 7:00pm in the Parish Center.

Fundraising ministry to support the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Recycles greeting cards of all occasions for sale. Meets Thursday mornings in the Parish Center.

Provide practical support and coordination to the worship service.
