Bishop Carlos Henrique Silva Oliveira

Carlos Henrique Silva Oliveira was born on August 13, 1972, in Brasília (Federal District), within the Archdiocese of the same name. He completed his studies in philosophy and theology at the Nossa Senhora de Fátima Major Seminary in Brasília and attended a course in Canon Law in Goiânia (Goiás). He was ordained a priest on December 7, 2002, and incardinated into the Archdiocese of Brasília. He has held the following positions: Parish Administrator (2002–2004) and subsequently Parish Priest (2004–2007) of Santíssima Trindade in Gama; Parish Priest of Santo Inácio de Loyola (2010–2014) and of São Pedro de Alcântara in Brasília (2014–2022); Coordinator of the Commission for the Protection of Minors and Vulnerable Persons; Episcopal Vicar for Social Pastoral Care and Caritas; Judge at the Ecclesiastical Tribunal; Episcopal Vicar of the Central Vicariate; and member of the Presbyteral Council. He also served as a *fidei donum* priest in the Diocese of Roraima (2007–2010). Since 2023, he has served as Parish Priest of Santo Cura d’Ars in Brasília.
