Servers assist the priest as he presides over the liturgy, serve their parish family by assisting in the celebration of the liturgy as a mirror and model for the gathered assembly, and serve God through worship and prayer.

Volunteers assist in maintaining a beautiful liturgical environment in church, decorating according to the liturgical seasons, changing flowers, adding Easter and Christmas decorations, and cleaning the church.

Members are present to families and friends at the time of a death in the parish, help plan funeral liturgies, and assist grieving families during the liturgy. Also arranges receptions if requested.

Assists the priest in distribution of Holy Communion at Mass and to the homebound. Volunteers commit to one weekend Mass per month and occasional weekday Masses.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in the Chapel on the first Thursday of each month from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm, and Tue/Wed/Thu 12:00 pm–1:00 pm. Parishioners are encouraged to spend 30–60 minutes in adoration.

Welcome all who attend Mass at St. Vivian Church with a warm and friendly greeting. Volunteers needed for all weekend Masses and holidays, arriving 15 minutes prior to Mass.

Read the scriptures during scheduled Masses to proclaim the Word of God. Members attend training and opportunities for continuing education.

Serves at parish liturgies to aid the gathered assembly's full participation. Volunteers commit to weekly rehearsal (Wednesday 7:00–9:00 PM) and to sing or play at one liturgy per weekend plus special liturgies.

Formation and discipleship program (formerly PSR) for children in grades 1–5 who attend public schools or are home-schooled. Teachers serve on a volunteer basis.

Assist in greeting parishioners, collect the weekly offering, facilitate offertory and communion processions, remain on-call for emergencies, and distribute bulletins. Seven ushers needed per liturgy.
