After receiving First Communion, students are invited to participate in this ministry. Altar servers assist at our weekend liturgies and special Masses (Holy Week, Confirmation, First Holy Communion and Christmas). Training sessions are held throughout the year.

EMHCs assist our priests with distributing the Body of Christ at our daily and weekend Masses. An EMHC may also bring Holy Communion to the home-bound. Training sessions are available throughout the year if you are interested in joining this important ministry.

Greeters are present at the church doors to welcome our parishioners and guests as they come to Mass. Anyone can be a Greeter, all you need is a smile and a handshake! Duties include selecting parishioners to participate in the presentation of the gifts, taking up the Offertory collection, directing the congregation during the distribution of Holy Communion and distributing the weekly bulletin after Mass.

After weekend Masses, we welcome our parishioners and guests to join us in the Holy Grounds Cafe, located in the Family Center. This ministry involves working in the kitchen, serving coffee and donuts, and creating an atmosphere of fellowship for our guests. New volunteers to assist in the cafe are always welcome!

Our Information Booth, located in the Family Center, is open after all weekend Masses. This ministry involves registering parishioners, scheduling Mass Intentions, and providing general information about the parish and upcoming events.

Lectors proclaim the scripture readings and recite the prayers of the faithful at Mass. This specialized ministry requires an audition with the Pastor to determine ability.

The Ascension Worship Team provides inspirational music for all weekend Masses and other holy days throughout the year. Our musicians have broad experience in a variety of musical styles and genres and help provide a worshipful atmosphere. Keeping with the Rebuilt model, Ascension uses Contemporary Christian Music during Mass.

Members of our Parking Ministry assist in the orderly movement of vehicles on the property during high volume times of the year.

Members of our Technology Team are trained to either run the slide display or control the cameras for our livestreams. Experience with computers and knowledge of the order of the Mass are required.
